Spring Trip: Easton, Massachusetts!

The spring trip went very well, with the focus of the trip being a ghost tour of Easton, which in turn focused on the history of the local dynasty, the Ames.

By the end of the week there will be a podcast-style sum up of the whole event, with some stories as related by our guide and some photographs.

Did we find anything? Well....

You'll just have to see.

Alien Abduction article

The 6 Most Famous Alien Abductions

We're not really a UFO-investigating kind of club (at least, not yet!) but this is an interesting article, nonetheless. A bit of spooky light reading, if you will.

April Update (sorry about the hiatus!)

Last month's presentation by PI-NE leader and TAPS member Jeff Stewart and his assistants Betty DuPont and Keith Chicolte was a pleasure to host, and a very fun event, all in all.
Paranormal Investigators of New England is an investigative group based out of Burlington, Vermont, with a wide range of investigations focussing on ghosts, cryptozoology, a wide umbrella term of the occult, and demonology. The presentation began with an introduction of the three members, a sharing of their stories, and a showcase of their technology, followed by a short investigation in the college. Altogether a wonderful experience, and we look forward to working with them again.

Next Friday, it's time to welcome Shannon Sylvia of Ghost Hunters International fame to the school, where it will be a similar set-up to the PI-NE presentation – an hour long talk from Ms. Sylvia, and then an hour's investigation. Last time we focussed on the Rotunda, which is in the sports centre of the school, and the Alexander Twilight Theatre; this time, we plan to return to the Rotunda, for a more concentrated investigation. Stay tuned for updates!

Also, this weekend is the spring trip to Easton, Massachusetts, where we will be investigating some spots around the town and possibly Stonehill College.

It's going to be very busy around here soon!

T.A.P.S. and Ghost Hunters International Speakers

On March 15th, LSC Paranormal Club is proud to host T.A.P.S.'s Jeff Stewart as a guest speaker for Lyndon State, as well as conducting an investigation of the campus with the club and two members of the audience.

T.A.P.S. (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) is based in Warwick, Rhode Island, and was founded in 1990 by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. They are the subject of the popular SyFy show Ghost Hunters, and their colleague Jeff Stewart has gone on several investigations with them.

In April, with any luck, we'll be honoured to host Shannon Sylvia of Ghost Hunters International, who is from the Boston, MA area. She's one of the six original investigators with GHI, and well known for her excellent lectures on the paranormal for the workshop/college circuit. She spends much of her time ghost hunting all over the United States, and like Jeff Stewart, she will conduct an investigation of the campus with the club and two members of the audience.

We will investigate the Alexander Twilight Theatre, the Wheelock residential hall, and the Rotunda, which is the sports centre for LSC.

This is a very exciting prospect for LSC Paranormal, and we look forward to learning from these seasoned investigators, and of course, the findings!
